Updates

Today we had Annalise's one month doctor's appointment. I just thought I'd update on her stats....this way it is written down for me to remember it :).

   One Week:
      7lbs 6oz
       20in

   One Month:
      8lbs 15oz
      20.5in

And I figure I'd throw in a picture of two of some of my favorite people :)

a day of fun

Today, the families all met at the house for a little "baby get together", some food, and some fun. As usual, there was plenty of fun.

Also, as usual, the fun occurs just after the food, which we made quick work of. I didn't get pictures of the whole spread, but there were definitely some good deserts - cookies & little mini cupcakes!

After eating, we decided to break out the slip-n-slide and let the little girls have some fun. My cousin's daughters went out and took control of the slide having fun on their own. It really didn't take long for them to learn how to slide...

But, what's a "little fun" when you can add an adult and make it "big fun"?

It was an absolute blast!

Just because they're bigger and stronger, doesn't mean they can't be beaten...

I had some work to do this weekend (more to come soon), and so Bethany and Annalise joined me outside. However, it was a bit bright out, so Annalise needed some sunglasses.

I'd say she looks pretty cool...

Looks like work

The start of our weekend project...

Time to prep the yard and start. Hopefully by Saturday afternoon, I'll be sitting out on the new deck enjoying the backyard. That's the plan at least.

Two Weeks

We did a little simple photo session of our little one now that she's two weeks old. She and the weather cooperated pretty well too, which made it even better.

Shortly after shooting off a hundred photos with her cooperating, the weather decided it would give us a challenge. Without much warning, the rain started and just got harder as we stood there. We hudled under a couple trees waiting for it to slack off, which it never did, so whe had to make a run for it.

After a quick wet run, we were all back in the car laughing at the thought of others as they saw us running with a stroller through the open park dodging rain bullets...

And she's out

Apparently the term "sleeping like a baby" holds pretty true...

Even after tormenting the poor girl, she still slept another 2 hours or so.
