During the Thanksgiving holidays, while I was home, we made a quick trip to Atlanta to visit the aquarium and go on a short road trip. We decided to go on "Black Friday" in hopes of beating the congestion, while everyone else was out shopping.
We jumped in the car, made the short drive, and checked out the Centennial Park while waiting for our entry into the aquarium.

In the plaza (or Centennial Park) between the World of Coke and the actual aquarium...

There is a section where we're on a moving walkway under the large tanks, which allowed for some awesome view of the larger species...

Based on all my latest travels, I was able to use several of my hotel points to snag a hotel room just blocks away from the exhibits, which made the stay that much better. Definitely a fun little getaway.
