Changing plugs

I remember doing this in my old Honda and it wasn't near as tedious.

I've gotten 4 of the 8 replaced and they're proving to be a bear!

Date Night

We haven't gone on a date in a while, so it was nice to get to go out on one finally. We decided in advance that we were going to dress up and go out to a nice dinner and just enjoy the night. It would be a fun night and we weren't going to worry about anything for the evening. Yea, sounds good.

She kept her hair down and dressed up in her little pink polka-dot dress and sweater while I had the luxury of wearing a dress shirt and tie. Man, it's been a while since I got that dressed up. The occasion did require me to go out and buy a new pair of dress pants too. Fancy dinners have a way of making that okay.

By the way, I need some new dress shirts. Mine have gotten a bit too big...

Anyways, we walked in and were escorted to our seats. The waiter beat me to it, and pulled her chair out for her. Oh yea, we were dining in style tonight! It wasn't long before drinks were being poured and we were smiling enjoying the night. There was a small band playing off the side and the night was pretty great. It was a small venue and with the way the night was planned there was a select menu, so we never had to worry about our meals either.

After a round of music from the band, our plates were served and we were beginning to enjoy stuffing our bellies. The dinner of roasted chicken breast, mashed potatoes and green beans was pretty good. Very simple meal but cooked very well and thoroughly enjoyed. We sat around a bit, enjoying a few more songs from the band and just enjoying the night.

We even had a photo taken of us too:

Since it was a late night dinner, my date was starting to get a little cranky so we decided it would be best to head home early and call it a night. But, it was definitely a good night to have!

(Thanks for the Daddy Daughter Date Night Cedar Grove! I enjoyed it.)

Team Red White & Blue - 2012

VISION: Team Red, White & Blue has a vision to transform the way America supports its wounded veterans when they exit their position. Our intent is to create a community of veterans, their families, and American citizens, bringing them together so they can spend time with one another. We believe that the American people can best support our TRWB veterans through authentic social interaction and shared experiences in communities all over America.

Again for 2012, I will be racing for Team Red White & Blue and I cannot wait. I enjoyed every minute running for those that can't, seeing the funds help those that need it, and doing just a little something to say thank you. If you feel that you want to do to the same, go here: http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/trwbrharris/rhtrwb2012

I look forward to another great year of racing and look forward to your support as I continue racing for Team Red White & Blue

See you at the start line!

Staying busy

This is what's been keeping us busy at work lately. We had a big milestone submittal due last week and with a good bit of overtime, we made it

Twenty three plan sets. Almost 300pgs each.

Decorating for Christmas

This is how we decorate for Christmas.

First we climb on top of the Christmas Tree Box and use it as a new place to play...
After getting the tree out of it's box, we sit right in dad's lap while he puts the lights on the tree...
...not that there's anything wrong with that.

Georgia Aquarium

During the Thanksgiving holidays, while I was home, we made a quick trip to Atlanta to visit the aquarium and go on a short road trip. We decided to go on "Black Friday" in hopes of beating the congestion, while everyone else was out shopping.

We jumped in the car, made the short drive, and checked out the Centennial Park while waiting for our entry into the aquarium.

Welcome to the aquarium...
In the plaza (or Centennial Park) between the World of Coke and the actual aquarium...
Somebody was anxious to get out of the stroller...
There is a section where we're on a moving walkway under the large tanks, which allowed for some awesome view of the larger species...
Enthralled...
Based on all my latest travels, I was able to use several of my hotel points to snag a hotel room just blocks away from the exhibits, which made the stay that much better. Definitely a fun little getaway.
